1. Old Oakland Farmers’ Market

This year round Farmers' Market takes place every Friday from 8am to 2pm on 9th street between Broadway and Clay streets!   This Farmers' Market has brought local, organic produce to the East Bay for over 20 years.  Run by the Urban Village Farmers' Market Association, it prides itself on being the most diverse, affordable, and accessible Farmers' Market in Oakland. Take the BART train over and feast your eyes on the beautiful array of colors the different fruits and vegetables on offer from multiple produce stands. It’s a great opportunity to buy lunch from one of many popular food trucks, and browse vendors offering jewelry, clothing, and other local crafts!
